On Tour with Fellow Laureates
Winning the third price of the International NRW Guitar Competition in 2025 was an incredible milestone, but the journey didn’t stop there. In early 2026, the honor transformed into an exciting concert series as part of the International Folkwang Guitar Festival, bringing us back to the stage to share our music with audiences across North Rhine-Westphalia.
Sharing the spotlight with fellow prizewinners Robert Kwiędacz (first prize) and Juan Manuel Molano (second prize) made the experience even more special. Together, we put together a diverse, cross-epoch program that showcased the immense versatility, technical depth, and expressive power of the classical guitar: ranging from timeless masterworks by Johann Sebastian Bach and Fernando Sor to romantic and modern pieces.
Highlights & Venues
The concert series took us to some wonderful cultural venues and halls across the region, including:
The Maxhaus in Düsseldorf: A fantastic, vibrant cultural space where we presented our laureate program to a wonderful audience. The Chamber Music Hall (Kammermusiksaal) at the Folkwang University of the Arts (Campus Essen-Werden): Performing right at home on campus felt like a true homecoming, celebrating years of dedication under the artistic direction of Prof. Tomasz Zawierucha.
Stepping onto these stages to perform as a prize-holder was an unforgettable reward for countless hours in the practice room. A huge thank you to everyone who attended the concerts, supported the festival, and shared in the joy of live music!
